Reaper Ankhegs

 Reaper 03658 and 77230 Ankhegs.



Both metal (03658) and bones (77230) versions. The bones version has no base and painted more of a brown in colour and is on the right.

Ankheg, most of the mini.
1. Base: Citadel Wraithbone.
2. Shade/wash: Citadel Gore-grunta Fur, contrast paint.
3. Layer: Citadel Skrag Brown.
4. Layer highlight/ dry brush: Citadel Deathclaw Brown.
5. Layer highlight/ light dry brush: Citadel Deathclaw Brown + Citadel Ungor Flesh.
6. Layer highlight/ very light dry brush: Citadel Ungor Flesh.

Citadel The Lord of the Rings ME-73 Barrow Wights

 


Taken with flash on Canon 200DD. Repaints, I tried out different ethereal coloured glow effects.


Same position & camera though without flash. Kept both because I think they both work.
