Metal Magic Miniature Paladin C1020c with pole-weapon

Another old miniature bought in the 1980s that I have eventually got painted. It’s a Metal Magic Miniature Paladin C1020c with pole-weapon.

Tried this armour/steel recipe 

1. Zenithal undercoat.

2. Base Coat: Vallejo Model Air Metallic Gunmetal.

3. Shade: Wash all over with Citadel Nuln Oil.

4. Highlight/ Edge Highlight: Vallejo Model Air Metallic Steel.

Happy with this.

Skeletons Rising

At Morgue Miniatures we have at times breakages. So rather than throw away them away, I used the broken skeletal centaurs as skeletons rising from their graves.

Grenadier Skeleton

An old Grenadier skeleton miniature which I felt needed a bit of a Mörk Borg meets Quentin Tarantino bloody effect. Also the 1980s sculpt wasn’t the best, hence the copious amounts of blood.

A narcissistic endeavour in painting this miniature, since I had the pleasure in playing an Imperial Officer in Star Wars: Rogue One and Solo. In addition to one of the most enjoyable working days of my life, I was lucky enough to appear on a Star Wars Rogue one trading card.
