KIDS ON WHEELS

 

Here are mine & Julie ( my wife’s) latest KICKSTARTER. Kids on Wheels, based on young kids in the 1980s inspired by “Kids on Bikes” RPG, “ Tales from the Loop” RPG & such TV shows as “Stranger Things”. I enjoyed painting them with a 1980s palette

Reaper 03674 Werejackal and Grenadier Werejackal

Painted both of these last year. The Reaper Werejackal, 03674 was sculpted by Jason Wiebe and the Grenadier Werejackal was sculpted in 1987 and was part of blister pack of were creatures code #305.

How the miniature was originally packed and how much I paid in the late 1980's for it.

2. Shade: Citadel Nuln Oil (Black).
3. Dry Brush:  Vallejo Model Colour Burnt Umber.
4. Dry Brush:  Vallejo Model Colour Burnt Umber + Vallejo Model Colour 825 German Cam Pale Brown + touch of grey
5. A light Dry Brush: Vallejo Model Colour 825 German Cam Pale Brown + touch of grey

Reaper Ankhegs

 Reaper 03658 and 77230 Ankhegs.

Both metal (03658) and bones (77230) versions. The bones version has no base and painted more of a brown in colour and is on the right.

1. Base: Citadel Wraithbone.

2. Shade/wash: Citadel Gore-grunta Fur, contrast paint.

3. Layer: Citadel Skrag Brown.

4. Layer highlight/ dry brush: Citadel Deathclaw Brown.

5. Layer highlight/ light dry brush: Citadel Deathclaw Brown + Citadel Ungor Flesh.

6. Layer highlight/ very light dry brush: Citadel Ungor Flesh.

Citadel The Lord of the Rings ME-73 Barrow Wights

 

Taken with flash on Canon 200DD. Repaints, I tried out different ethereal coloured glow effects.

Same position & camera though without flash. Kept both because I think they both work.

Citadel C18 Night Horrors Headless Ghost 1980s

 Citadel C18 Night Horrors Headless Ghost 1980s.

This miniature was airbrushed as well as painted. A very thinned Citadel Flayed One Flesh was used on the skin and a wash shade of Citadel technical nihilakh oxide was washed over the entire miniature.

This miniature is from 1980s and comes from the Night Horrors range.
